We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for our optical and eyewear retail business.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle daily sales, purchase, expense, receipt, and payment entries.

- Maintain accounts in Tally/ERP and ensure accurate bookkeeping.
- Verify purchase and sales invoices, discounts, GST, and other details.
- Maintain and reconcile supplier and customer ledgers.
- Handle purchase returns, credit notes, debit notes, and outstanding payments.
- Reconcile bank, cash, POS, UPI, and card transactions.
- Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
- Reconcile purchase invoices with GSTR-2B.
- Coordinate with stores and suppliers regarding accounting and inventory discrepancies.
- Assist with stock reconciliation, purchase returns, and product-related accounting.
- Prepare monthly sales, purchase, outstanding, and margin reports.
- Support internal/statutory audits and maintain proper financial documentation.

Requirements





* B.Com / M.Com / equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.

- 1–3 years of accounting experience; retail/optical industry experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of Tally and MS Excel.
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and bank reconciliation.
- Strong knowledge of purchase, sales, inventory, and ledger reconciliation.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred

Knowledge of accounting softwares Innovision, Odoo, Tally. Experience in optical/eyewear retail, retail POS, inventory management, supplier reconciliation, and multi-store accounting will be an added advantage.
