NJob Description:
NLead the overall development of a 75-bed palliative-care institution with extended homecare services, translating the Foundation's vision into a high-quality, compassionate and sustainable institution.

- Lead the institution's overall strategy, operations, culture and organisational development.
N
- Translate the Foundation's vision into transparent organisational priorities and execution.
N
- Build a culture rooted in compassion, dignity, humility, integrity, accountability and excellence.
N
- Partner with senior clinical consultants to strengthen clinical governance, patient safety, quality and multidisciplinary care while respecting clinical autonomy.
N
- Recruit, develop, mentor and retain high-performing multidisciplinary teams.
N
- Build leadership capability, performance management and learning systems across the organisation.
N
- Establish robust operational systems, dashboards, governance mechanisms, compliance and risk-management processes.
N
- Lead budgeting, financial planning, resource allocation and long-term organisational sustainability.
N
- Develop strategic partnerships with hospitals, academia, government, philanthropy and other ecosystem stakeholders.
N
- Support the developmentof training, research, volunteering, outreach and community-based initiatives.
N
- Champion continuous improvement, innovation and evidence-informed practice.
N
- Ensure patient and family feedback and organisational outcomes inform service improvement.
N
- Represent the institution externally and build trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
N
- Drive the development of the institution into a nationally respected centre for palliative care.
N
nIdeal Candidate Profile:
NThe ideal candidate will be a doctor/healthcare leader and institution builder who is motivated by building a mission-driven healthcare institution rather than simply managing an established hospital.
NStrong preference for candidates with experience in one or more of the following:

- Community Medicine / Public Health
N
- Palliative Medicine / Palliative Care
N
- General Medicine / Family Medicine
N
- Oncology with palliative-care exposure
N
- Medical Superintendent / Medical Director / Hospital Director / Clinical Director roles
N
- Mission hospitals / charitable healthcare / NGOs
N
- Community health and home-based care
N
- Academic / teaching andmentoring environments
N
nFormal Palliative Medicine qualification is not mandatory where the candidate has meaningful palliative-care exposure and demonstrates the willingness to deeply understand and embrace the philosophy of care beyond cure.
