Profile: Sales Manager

Experience:

2-5 years of experience in sales/business development, preferably in construction, building materials, Windows & Doors, Aluminium/uPVC, Glass, Tiles & Sanitaryware, Hardware, or related industries.

Roles:

Receive and evaluate leads generated by the Field Survey/Lead Generation Executive and take them forward for business development. Contact architects, builders, contractors, developers, and other prospects to understand their requirements and project details. Conduct regular client meetings and site visits to convert generated leads into sales opportunities. Follow up consistently with prospects and maintain a structured pipeline of active leads. Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products or solutions based on project needs. Prepare and share quotations, proposals, and commercial offers with customers. Negotiate pricing, terms, and other commercial aspects while ensuring profitable business for the company. Coordinate with internal teams for product availability, pricing, technical requirements, delivery, and order execution.



Track each lead from initial contact through follow-up, negotiation, and final closure. Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, follow-ups, quotations, and sales conversions. Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets as assigned by the management. Develop solid relationships with architects, builders, contractors, developers, and other key decision-makers. Identify additional business opportunities from existing clients and ongoing construction projects. Provide regular updates to management regarding sales pipeline, conversions, market activity, and competitor information. Ensure timely follow-up on pending quotations and actively work towards improving lead-to-sale conversion. Qualification:

Graduate preferred; Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good negotiation and convincing abilities. Comfortable with extensive field travel and client meetings. Basic knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheets for maintaining sales reports.
