Job SummaryThe role involves managing day-to-day retail store operations, assisting customers, handling billing and transactions, maintaining product displays, and ensuring high standards of customer service, hygiene, and store presentation. The ideal candidate should have a customer-focused approach, good communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.

1. Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive in-store experience
2. Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate information about bakery, confectionery, and other products
3. Handle POS billing, cash/card/UPI transactions, and ensure billing accuracy
4. Maintain proper product display, merchandising, labelling, pricing, and presentation as per brand standards
5. Ensure products are appropriately packed and handed over to customers while maintaining product quality and presentation
6. Monitor product availability, freshness, expiry, and display quantities throughout the shift
7. Follow FIFO practices and coordinate with the store team for replenishment of products
8. Assist in receiving, checking, arranging, and storing products and supplies as required
9. Maintain cleanliness,



hygiene, grooming, and food safety standards across the retail store and customer-facing areas
10. Handle customer queries, feedback, and complaints professionally and escalate issues to the Store Manager/Supervisor when required
11. Support daily opening and closing activities, including store readiness, cleaning, stock checks, and handover
12. Ensure accurate handling of cash and store transactions and comply with all company policies and SOPs
13. Coordinate with the production, kitchen, and store teams to ensure timely availability of products
14. Support promotional activities, festive sales, product launches, and other store initiatives
15. Contribute towards achieving store sales, customer service, and operational targets

- Eligibility CriteriaMinimum 1–3 years of experience in retail, bakery, café, QSR, hospitality, or customer service
- Freshers with strong customer service skills may also be considered
- Basic knowledge of POS billing and digital payment methods preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-oriented approach with a positive and professional attitude
- Ability to handle a rapid-paced retail environment
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and festive periods
- Basic understanding of product handling, stock management, and store hygiene
- Preferred QualificationsExperience with premium bakery, café, food retail, QSR, or hospitality brands will be an added advantage
- Prior experience in POS billing, retail sales, or customer-facing roles preferred
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards will be preferred
