- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, machines, and systems.
- Create and modify 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings with GD&T;, tolerances, fits, and surface-finish requirements.
- Perform mechanical calculations related to strength, load, stress, torque, vibration, and thermal requirements.
- Select appropriate materials, fasteners, bearings, motors, shafts, gears, and other mechanical components.
- Conduct design reviews and identify opportunities for cost, weight, and performance optimization.
- Work closely with manufacturing, production, quality, electrical, and procurement teams.
- Develop prototypes and support testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Analyze design failures and implement corrective actions.




- Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering standards and safety requirements.
- Prepare BOMs, specifications, engineering documentation, and revision records.
- Support new product development and engineering change activities.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, AutoCAD, or NX.
- Knowledge of GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, DFM/DFA, and engineering drawing standards.
- Understanding of materials, machining, sheet metal, welding, casting, forging, and fabrication.
- Positive analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of basic FEA and simulation tools is an advantage.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
