Equity Research Analyst - US IT Services - 2+ Years - Pune

We are looking for an experienced Equity Research professional to support a US-based sell-side equity research analyst covering the US IT Services & Technology sector. The role involves financial modelling, earnings analysis, research report preparation, sector research, database management, and supporting client-driven analytical requirements.

Responsibilities

- Building end-to-end financial models for initiating coverage and updating models for earnings and company-specific events.
- Contributing to initiation notes, earnings notes, research reports, and other equity research publications.
- Conducting sector and company research, aggregating relevant information, and providing data-driven analysis based on client requirements.
- Building and maintaining sector databases and preparing and updating marketing presentations.
- Supporting wall-cross assignments and leveraging platforms such as FactSet and Bloomberg for research and analysis.

Requirements

- Possessing 2-4 years of experience in Equity Research, with experience covering the US IT Services & Technology sector preferred.
- Demonstrating a robust understanding of financial analysis, accounting concepts, valuation methodologies, and equity research fundamentals.




- Having excellent proficiency in MS Excel with the ability to build and maintain detailed financial models.
- Demonstrating strong research writing skills with the ability to contribute to high-quality equity research reports and notes.
- Possessing excellent client management, communication, independent thinking, analytical, and time-management skills.
