Senior AI/LLM Engineer - WhatsApp AI Sales Agent - 5+ Years - Gurgaon

We are looking for an experienced Senior AI/LLM Engineer to take ownership of debugging, optimising, and stabilising an existing production WhatsApp AI Sales Agent. This role is ideal for professionals with strong hands-on expertise in Python, LLM applications, AI agents, RAG, production debugging, and architecture-level problem solving.

Location: Gurgaon

Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end root-cause analysis, debugging, optimisation, and stabilisation of the existing production AI agent without unnecessary rewrites.
- Improve LLM memory, context handling, RAG/knowledge grounding, conversation state, and overall agent reliability.
- Resolve issues related to duplicate, superseded, out-of-order, and concurrency-related responses within the AI agent.
- Optimise latency, token/model usage, unnecessary model and embedding calls, follow-up reliability, language consistency, and overall agent performance.
- Set up and review tracing, testing, and regression coverage, guide the Mid-Level Engineer, and support reliable staging-to-production releases.





Requirements

- 5+ years of practical Software / AI Engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in Python, Flask/REST APIs, and production debugging.
- Deep hands-on experience with LLM applications and OpenAI or comparable APIs.
- Strong experience with AI-agent frameworks such as CrewAI, LangChain, or similar frameworks.
- Strong understanding of RAG, conversation memory, context management, state management, databases, Git/GitHub, and third-party APIs.
- Experience with Twilio, WhatsApp, webhook-based systems, AI sales/lead qualification, or CRM automation will be preferred.

Key: Must have proven hands-on experience debugging and optimising existing production AI agents/LLM systems. Candidates whose experience is limited to basic chatbots or simple OpenAI API integrations will not be considered.
