Job Summary1. Role Context

This role requires close collaboration with client business stakeholders, functional SMEs, solution architects, and technical teams to analyze business requirements, design scalable SAP solutions, and configure/customize SAP MM capabilities aligned with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong consulting skills, deep functional knowledge of SAP MM, and hands-on experience delivering end-to-end SAP implementations, enhancements, and transformation programs across complex enterprise environments.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign

- Partner with client functional SMEs and business stakeholders to understand procurement and materials management business processes and requirements.
- Lead workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and fit-gap analysis for Source to Settle processes.
- Design SAP MM solutions aligned to business requirements, SAP best practices, and enterprise architecture standards. Configure SAP MM functionalities including:
- Procurement
- Purchase Requisitions
- Purchase Orders
- Inventory Management
- Goods Receipt / Invoice Receipt
- Vendor Master Management
- Valuation and Account Determination
- Release Strategies
- Service Procurement

Support integration design across SAP modules including:

- SAP S/4HANA

- SAP Ariba

- SAP SD

- SAP FI/CO

- SAP WM/EWM

- SAP PP

- Translate business requirements into configurable and customizable SAP solutions.

- Prepare functional specifications for custom developments, enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms, and workflows.

- Collaborate with ABAP developers, integration teams, and technical architects during solution development.

- Support data migration, testing strategy, defect resolution, and deployment activities.

- Conduct unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and hypercare support.

- Develop process documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer artifacts.

- Provide advisory support on SAP best practices, process optimization,



and digital procurement transformation initiatives.

- Participate in pre-sales support, solution demonstrations, and proposal development activities when required.

3. Required SkillsFunctional Expertise

- Solid hands-on experience in SAP MM configuration and implementation.
- Deep understanding of Source to Settle / Procure to Pay (P2P) business processes.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Procurement capabilities.
- Knowledge of inventory management and materials valuation processes.
- Experience with release strategies, pricing procedures, and account determination.
- Understanding procurement analytics and reporting.

Integration Knowledge

- Strong understanding of SAP MM integration with:
- SAP FI/CO
- SAP SD
- SAP PP
- SAP WM/EWM
- SAP Ariba

- Experience with IDocs, APIs, and interface coordination is preferred.

Consulting and Delivery Skills

- Strong client-facing consulting and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to facilitate workshops and drive requirement discussions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience preparing functional specifications and process documentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in global delivery environments.

Technical and Tools Proficiency

- SAP S/4HANA

- HP ALM, JIRA, or similar testing and delivery tools
