Role Description The Salesperson role at Shree Lagan Sarees is a full-time, in office position based in Kanpur. The Salesperson is responsible for greeting customers, understanding their requirements, and recommending suitable sarees and related products. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with product selection, explaining fabric types and designs, handling billing and cash transactions, and maintaining accurate sales records. The role also involves organizing and replenishing stock, keeping the store clean and visually appealing, and supporting promotional activities and seasonal displays.



The Salesperson works closely with the store team to ensure a welcoming environment and positive customer experience.
Qualifications

- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage politely and professionally with diverse customers.
- Basic sales and retail skills, including product presentation, upselling, and handling cash and electronic payments accurately.
- Ability to understand and explain different fabrics, designs, and styles of sarees and ethnic wear (training can be provided).
- Good communication skills in local languages and basic English, with clear and respectful verbal interaction.
- Reliable time management and organizational skills to manage multiple customers, maintain displays, and support store operations.
- Comfort with standing for extended periods and working in a busy retail environment.
- Prior experience in garment or retail sales is an advantage but not mandatory.
- High school education or equivalent is preferred; willingness to learn and follow store policies is essential.
