The ideal candidate will have robust technical knowledge, hands-on site experience and a disciplined approach to maintaining construction standards.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement project quality plans, inspection and test plans, and quality control procedures.Inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and applicable IS codes.Organise and supervise testing of concrete, cement, steel, aggregates, soil, bricks, blocks and other construction materials.Verify concrete mix designs, monitor batching and pouring, and oversee slump tests, cube casting, curing and strength testing.Inspect incoming materials, review test certificates and maintain material approval records.Coordinate with site teams, consultants, contractors and approved testing laboratories.Identify quality deviations, issue non-conformance reports and verify corrective actions.Maintain inspection reports, test registers, checklists,



calibration records and quality documentation.Conduct quality audits and support snagging, rectification and project handover.Guide site teams on workmanship standards and preventive measures to reduce defects and rework.Required Qualifications & SkillsB.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognised university.Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in construction quality control and material testing.Sound knowledge of QA/QC procedures, material testing methods and applicable IS standards.Ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings, technical specifications and test results.Experience with RCC works, masonry, waterproofing and finishing inspections.Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and quality reporting.Strong attention to detail, documentation skills and coordination abilities.Willingness to work at project sites.Preferred ExperienceExperience on residential, commercial or high-rise construction projects.Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems and third-party quality inspections.CompensationSalary commensurate with experience, technical expertise and role suitability.How to ApplyShare your updated CV with the Diplomats Group hiring team, mentioning “Application – Quality Engineer” along with your current location, current and expected CTC, and notice period.
