Responsibilities

As an Azure Data Engineer, you will:

- Design, build, deploy, and maintain scalable Azure-based data engineering solutions.
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines leveraging Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and other tools.
- Optimize Azure SQL Databases, Data Lakes, and Synapse Analytics for top-tier performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams like Data Architects, Scientists, and Analysts to deliver end-to-end data solutions.
- Support data modeling, warehousing, and operational data store projects in Azure.
- Uphold best practices for data security, privacy, and governance compliance.




- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical challenges for scalable solutions.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in Azure and data engineering technologies.

Requirements

Must Have Skills & Experience

- Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Expertise: 5-8 years of proven data engineering experience with Azure.

- Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, and Synapse Analytics.
- Strong SQL, ETL/ELT pipeline architecture, and database optimization skills.
- Expertise in programming languages like Python or Scala.
- Familiarity with data modeling, schema design, and big data principles.
- Tools & Practices:

- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipeline practices.
- Understanding and implementation of data governance and compliance policies.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
