Description

To lead and oversee the end-to-end legal and operational management of third-party claims across the East and West Zones, ensuring effective claims resolution, loss-ratio management, timely settlement, litigation control, and compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee third-party claims legal activities across the East and West Zones.
- Monitor and drive loss-ratio improvement, claims registration, processing, award compliance and timely settlement of claims.
- Manage and monitor MACT litigation, including case strategy, legal proceedings, awards and execution.
- Drive settlement of claims through Lok Adalats, mediation and other alternate dispute-resolution mechanisms.
- Monitor the performance and effectiveness of panel advocates and legal teams across various states.
- Lead,



guide and manage the zonal legal team, ensuring coordination across geographically dispersed locations.
- Review litigation trends, claims exposure, ageing and high-value claims, and initiate appropriate corrective measures.
- Ensure effective coordination with Claims, Finance, Operations and other stakeholders for timely resolution and settlement of third-party claims.
- Establish appropriate legal controls, processes, MIS and performance-monitoring mechanisms for the respective zones.
- Ensure compliance with applicable court directions, regulatory requirements and company policies.

Qualifications

Law graduate/ PG with minimum 10 to 12 years of Industry experience.
