Description
The Relationship Manager - Agency will be the primary liaison between USGI Legal Entity and its agency partners. You will recruit current agents and POSPs, nurture existing relationships, and develop strategies to generate profitable insurance business. This role requires a deep understanding of the insurance market, strong communication skills, and the ability to translate client needs into actionable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new insurance agents and POSPs.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing agency partners.
- Develop and execute business generation plans to meet sales targets.
- Provide training, support, and performance feedback to agents.
- Monitor agency performance metrics and recommend improvement actions.
- Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and product teams to address partner needs.
- Prepare regular reports on agency activity, pipeline, and revenue forecasts.
- Resolve partner issues promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Organize agency events, webinars, and networking sessions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting agencies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the insurance sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
- Proven track record in recruiting and managing agency partners.
- Strong understanding of insurance products and distribution channels.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze data and drive performance-based decisions.
- Self‑motivated with a results‑oriented mindset.
- Proficiency with CRM and sales reporting tools.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for agents and POSPs.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet agency partners.
