Responsibilities

As a Virtual Infrastructure Specialist, you will:

- Design, implement, and maintain state-of-the-art virtual infrastructure solutions.
- Optimize virtual environments to ensure high availability and seamless performance.
- Spearhead the deployment of scalable virtual platforms for business-critical applications.
- Ensure compliance and cybersecurity through proactive updates and maintenance.
- Collaborate with cloud engineers and cross-functional teams for seamless hybrid infrastructure integration.
- Explore and recommend emerging virtualization tools and methodologies.




- Draft comprehensive operational documentation and ensure effective knowledge transfer.

Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of proven expertise in managing virtual infrastructure technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix XenServer).
- Strong proficiency in virtualization technologies, hypervisor management, and network configuration.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like PowerShell or Python.
- Expertise in hybrid cloud infrastructure integration (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of storage systems and concepts like SAN, NAS, and backups.
- Analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex virtual environment issues.
