Role Description The Subject Matter Expert (CCTS) role at Zenlynx Technology is a part-time remote position focused on providing deep domain expertise in climate, carbon, and sustainability-related topics. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and validating sustainability and climate data models, advising on methodology for carbon accounting and climate-related disclosures, and contributing to the design of ESG and sustainability workflows within the ZenX platform. The SME will collaborate with product, engineering, and customer success teams to refine features,



create and review technical documentation, and ensure that platform capabilities align with global standards and regulatory requirements.

The role also involves supporting thought leadership content, participating in client and internal knowledge sessions, and continuously monitoring emerging regulations, frameworks, and best practices in climate and sustainability.

Qualifications

- Expert knowledge in climate, carbon accounting, ESG reporting, and sustainability management, including familiarity with leading frameworks (e.g., GHG Protocol, TCFD, ISSB, CDP).
- Robust analytical and data interpretation skills, with experience working with complex sustainability, energy, and operational datasets.
- Ability to translate domain expertise into practical workflows, methodologies, and requirements for digital platforms or enterprise software.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and customer-facing teams, in a remote environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex climate and ESG concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Background in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, finance, or a related discipline; advanced degree or relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- Previous consulting, industry, or regulatory experience in climate risk, sustainability strategy, or ESG compliance is highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated commitment to sustainability, strategic thinking, and continuous learning about emerging climate and ESG standards.
