Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City for a Social Media Marketing Specialist. The specialist will manage BDTC’s social media presence across platforms, including planning and executing campaigns that align with the organization’s mission and programs. Daily responsibilities include creating engaging social media content, scheduling posts, monitoring performance metrics, and optimizing strategies to increase reach and engagement.

The role also involves collaborating with trainers and other team members to translate complex transformation concepts into accessible digital messages,



responding to community interactions, and supporting broader digital marketing initiatives. The specialist will help maintain a consistent brand voice, ensure timely communication of events and programs, and contribute ideas to enhance BDTC’s online impact.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing, with experience planning and executing campaigns across major platforms.
- Strong Social Media Content Creation skills, including writing, visual ideation, and basic familiarity with content formats such as posts, reels, and stories.
- Foundational knowledge of Marketing principles, including audience segmentation, brand positioning, and campaign performance tracking.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and engagingly in English and, ideally, local languages.
- Relevant experience in managing social media accounts for organizations, preferably in training, coaching, education, or wellness sectors.
- Ability to work in office in Pune City, collaborate effectively in a team, and manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
- Comfort with analytics tools and basic reporting on social media metrics to inform decisions and improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred.
