Who are we looking for

We are looking for a creative and analytical intern who can plan, produce and optimise professional social-media content that attracts attention, builds communities and supports business growth.

What will you do

Plan Social Media Content

- Research audiences, customer problems, content trends and relevant keywords.
- Develop monthly social-media content calendars.
- Plan content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts and TikTok.
- Define the concept, opening hook, format, audience and call to action for each asset.

Design and Edit Content

- Create qualified images, image carousels and short-form videos.
- Develop animated characters and character-based stories when appropriate.
- Use Google Flow or comparable creative tools effectively.
- Use AI intelligently while understanding its limitations, including inaccurate outputs, visual inconsistencies, copyright concerns and the need for human review.
- Edit images and videos using professional editing software.
- Add suitable graphics, subtitles, transitions, voiceovers, music and motion effects.
- Maintain consistent branding and visual quality across all content.

Prepare Publishing Copy

Every completed asset must be accompanied by: Title, Platform-specific description or caption, Keywords, Tags, Relevant hashtags, Call to action, publishing date and time based on research. The central content idea may remain consistent, but its presentation and copy should be adapted to suit each platform.

Improve Organic Performance

- Understand how Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts and TikTok distribute and recommend content.
- Apply suitable hooks, storytelling, watch-time,



retention and engagement techniques.
- Understand and follow the content, copyright and community policies of each platform.
- Work towards achieving more than 3,000 organic views on content, together with meaningful likes, comments and shares.
- Review successful and unsuccessful content and use the findings to improve future work.
- Never use purchased engagement, bots or misleading growth methods.

Organic reach cannot be guaranteed because distribution is partly controlled by the platforms. Performance will therefore be evaluated through content quality, audience relevance, consistency and measurable improvement.

SEO and Analytics

- Perform organic SEO using tools provided by the company, suggest and implement improvements
- Conduct keyword and search-intent research.
- Optimise social content, website articles and relevant pages for organic discovery.
- Use Google Analytics and platform analytics to monitor performance.
- Prepare clear weekly performance reports that can be shared with customers.
- Report views, reach, engagement, watch time, clicks, website traffic and other relevant results.
- Convert performance data into practical recommendations for the following week.

Essential Skills

- Strong creative thinking and visual storytelling.
- Ability to turn a business objective into an engaging content idea.
- Good graphic-design, image-editing and video-editing skills.
- Experience with Google Flow or a comparable creative platform.
- Ability to create and maintain consistent animated characters.




- Understanding of major social-media platforms and their content policies.
- Knowledge of organic SEO, keywords and Google Analytics.
- Ability to interpret data and prepare professional reports.
- Good written English, grammar and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and respond positively to feedback.

Equipment and Portfolio Requirements

Candidates must have: Their own suitable laptop or desktop computer, a reliable internet connection. Professional image- and video-editing software legally installed and ready to use. A portfolio containing examples of images, carousels and videos they have created. Canva, for example, should not be the candidate’s only editing capability.

Education and Future Opportunity A degree is not required to apply. Practical skills, creativity, portfolio quality and the ability to produce results are more important for this position. Candidates who are currently studying must be able to commit to a full-time internship.

Based on performance and business requirements, there may be an opportunity to join Cognisphere in a full-time position after successful completion of the six-month internship and, where applicable, completion of the candidate’s degree.

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will progress through three stages:

- Practical skills assessment – a short, time-bound task evaluating content planning, creative thinking, design & content creation, editing and optimisation skills.
- Technical interview – a discussion covering the submitted assessment, creative tools, platform knowledge, SEO and analytics.
- Final interview with management – a discussion about suitability, professional approach, availability and long-term potential within Cognisphere.
