Actuarial Valuation – Life Insurance

We are looking for an experienced Actuarial qualified to join our team and take ownership of key actuarial valuation, reporting, modelling, and regulatory activities within the Life Insurance business.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Lead reserving and actuarial valuation across statutory and realistic bases.
n
- Develop, review, and maintain reserving, pricing, ALM, Economic Capital, IFRS 17, and risk models.
n
- Manage IRDAI reporting, statutory submissions, and regulatory queries.
n
- Prepare valuation documentation, actuarial reports, analysis, and SOPs.
n
- Provide actuarial insights to support business requirements and product development.
n
- Partner with Product, IT, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to drive effective stakeholder management.
n
- Lead team development through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and training.

Requirements

n

n




- Qualified Actuary from IAI / IFoA / SOA / UK actuarial body.
n
- 2+ years of actuarial experience, preferably in valuation and/or shareholder reporting.
n
- Prior experience in reporting and IFRS 17 will be an advantage.
n
- Strong understanding of IRDAI regulations and reporting requirements.
n
- Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
n
- Knowledge of SQL, Python/R, or actuarial software is preferred.
n
