Job Title: Senior Merchandiser Home Furnishings

Role Overview: Seeking a highly technical, strategically minded Senior Merchandiser to act as the operational and commercial hub of our home furnishings division, driven by outsourced manufacturing, this role requires building system-led, cross-functional processes, bridging gaps between design and execution. Ensuring product excellence, as a standard maintaining consistency, a hallmark of premium brand positioning.

Key Responsibilities Vendor Management & Production Oversight

- Drive Outsourced Manufacturing via Identifying, onboard, and managing vendor partners capable of executing high-end home textiles and furnishings, enforcing rigorous quality control and adhere to tech packs.
- Negotiation & Margin Control: Negotiate costs on premium raw materials and complex production techniques without compromising the tactile quality, structural integrity, or visual weight of the final product.
- Timeline Management: Build and manage critical paths from initial prototyping to final delivery, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Product Development & Assortment Strategy: Oversee the translation of intricate techniques into scalable production.




- Cross-Functional System Leadership & Process Standardization: A system-led cross-functional communication ensuring seamless information sharing across design, sourcing, marketing, and sales.
- Cataloguing & Visual Merchandising: Coordinate closely with the creative and photography teams to ensure production samples arrive on time and perfectly finished for premium cataloguing.
- Lifecycle Management: Track product performance, inventory flows, and sales data to inform future assortment planning and vendor allocation.

Qualifications & Experience

- 5 years of merchandising or product development experience, specifically within premium home furnishings or textiles.
- Deep technical understanding of fabric construction, stitching, quilting embroidery, printing and home textile finishing.
- Proven track record of managing an outsourced manufacturing base, with robust vendor management.
- Exceptional eye for detail and scalability.
- Strong financial acumen to manage pricing strategies and gross margins.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate concepts into concrete technical directives for factories.
