A typical JD for Senior Mold Designer will include: -

1. To receive, study, interact & understand the customer requirements about the products & molds.
2. Propose & prepare DFM, MFA solutions. ( feasibility study)
3. Planning the mold design execution within the mold design team.
4. Actual execution & monitoring of mold design projects as planned above.

Expertise in Creo software is a must.

1. Regular interactions with Tool room shop floor, die makers and QC @ on-going tooling projects.
2. Maintaining the resources of mold design section.
3. Training, grooming the junior/fresh mold designers thru the skill ladder.
4. To interact with senior management about the quality objectives, business targets of the unit, in line with the vision, mission & goals of the whole organisation.

The candidate should be knowledgeable, experienced & capable enough for upholding above responsibilities and most importantly should be having right attitude of sense of ownership
