Role Description This is a full time, on-site Salesperson role based in Vadakara. The Salesperson will be responsible for identifying and developing new customer relationships in retail, wholesale, and distribution channels, while maintaining and growing existing accounts. Daily tasks include visiting customers, presenting product offerings, negotiating pricing and terms within company guidelines, and processing orders accurately.

The role involves monitoring market trends, gathering customer feedback, coordinating with production and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries, and achieving sales targets.



The Salesperson will also prepare regular sales reports and participate in promotional activities, trade visits, and brand-building initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong sales, negotiation, and persuasion abilities, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and sustain customer relationships.
- Basic knowledge of food products, food safety, or FMCG/food industry sales experience is highly beneficial.
- Ability to plan routes, manage time effectively, and work independently in the field.
- Comfort with using mobile or computer-based tools for order entry, reporting, and customer follow-up.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Vadakara and surrounding areas as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
- Commitment to ethical sales practices and alignment with Ziram Foods’ standards for quality and safety.
