We're Hiring | Assistant/Associate Professor – Interior Design

Locations: Mumbai & Bangalore

Pearl Academy is looking for experienced and passionate professionals to join our academic team as Assistant/Associate Professor – Interior Design across our Mumbai and Bangalore campuses.

n

We are seeking design professionals and educators who bring strong expertise across interior design practice, construction detailing, furniture design, experiential/exhibition design, and emerging design technologies—along with a passion for mentoring the next generation of creative professionals.

n

Qualifications

n

Bachelor's in Interior Design/B.Arch and Master's in Interior Design/Master's in Architecture.

n

Experience

n

n
- 8–15 years of relevant industry and/or academic experience
n
- Strong expertise in interior design practice, construction working drawings, furniture design, and experiential/exhibition design
n
- Teaching and studio-mentoring experience preferred, including guiding student live projects, portfolios, and thesis/dissertation research
n

n

Key Areas of Expertise

n

n
- AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino & Grasshopper,



Revit and BIM
n
- V-Ray, Lumion, Enscape/Twinmotion and immersive VR/AR walkthroughs
n
- Interior construction detailing and technical knowledge of MEP drawings
n
- BIM-based multidisciplinary coordination
n
- Spatial planning, universal design/accessibility standards and ergonomics
n
- Strong industry connections and ability to develop live projects, internships, and partnerships with design studios and firms
n
- Academic and project coordination, including familiarity with LMS platforms
n
