Led by Architect Samir Mathur, a Master in Landscape Architecture from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and Engineer Bela Mathur, an electrical systems and lighting design specialist, the studio has grown from a small team into a practice of over 60 professionals. Headquartered in New Delhi, the firm also operates offices in Mumbai, Pune, and Kanpur, and delivers projects across India and internationally.

Designs collaborates closely with leading builders, top design firms, and renowned clients such as DLF, Kalpataru Group, Raheja Group, ATS Infrastructure, Godrej, and Wipro. A diverse team of landscape architects, architects, horticulturalists, engineers, and 3D artists provides integrated design solutions from concept through execution, including architecture, landscaping, and MEP services.

Role Description The Project Architect will lead the design and coordination of architectural projects, ensuring that concepts are translated into detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing design solutions, reviewing and integrating landscape and MEP inputs, preparing and managing submittals, and coordinating with internal teams and external consultants. The role involves overseeing project timelines, monitoring design quality, supporting site execution,



and participating in client meetings and design presentations.

The Project

Architect will also contribute to sustainable design strategies and the use of digital tools such as BIM for efficient project delivery. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Delhi Area.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Architecture, including concept development, detailed design, construction documentation, and coordination with landscape and MEP disciplines.
- Experience with Submittals, including preparation, review, and management of drawings, specifications, and material approvals throughout the project lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Project Management, with the ability to handle schedules, resource coordination, stakeholder communication, and quality control on multiple projects.
- Knowledge of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) principles and sustainable design practices, with experience contributing to green building initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools for design integration, clash detection, documentation, and collaboration across disciplines.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution; professional registration or licensure is an advantage.
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar BIM tools, 3D visualization software) and solid technical detailing skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and interact confidently with clients
