Role Description The Plumbing Drafter is a full time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role involves preparing detailed plumbing drawings and layouts for water supply, drainage, and fire protection systems using CAD software and relevant design tools.

The Plumbing

Drafter will interpret architectural and engineering plans, coordinate with project engineers, and ensure that drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications. Daily tasks include updating drawings based on review comments, maintaining drawing documentation,



and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve design issues. The role requires consistent communication with project managers, site teams, and other disciplines to support accurate, timely, and constructible design deliverables.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in CAD drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD) for plumbing layouts, piping diagrams, and shop drawings.
- Knowledge of plumbing design principles, including water supply, drainage, venting, and fire protection systems.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and integrate plumbing designs accordingly.
- Understanding of relevant building codes, standards, and best practices for plumbing and fire protection in commercial and institutional projects.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field; additional training in MEP or plumbing design is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and ability to manage multiple drawing revisions and deadlines.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with engineers, project managers, and site teams.
- Experience in hospital, industrial, or large institutional projects is preferred but not mandatory.
