Role Description The Nursing Skills Instructor is a full-time, on-site role based in Guwahati. This role involves delivering structured training sessions in clinical skill labs and simulation environments, focusing on core nursing procedures, critical care practices, and OSCE preparation. The instructor will design and update curricula, create lesson plans and assessment tools, and provide individualized feedback to learners to strengthen both technical skills and clinical judgment.

Daily responsibilities include demonstrating evidence-based nursing techniques, supervising practice sessions, evaluating performance,



and supporting learners in developing clear and effective healthcare communication.

The Nursing Skills

Instructor will collaborate with partner colleges, academic coordinators, and internal teams to align training with institutional requirements and evolving clinical standards.

Qualifications

- Strong clinical expertise in Nursing and Medicine, with the ability to demonstrate and teach safe, evidence-based practices.
- Experience in Nursing Education and Curriculum Development, including creating lesson plans, assessments, and OSCE-oriented training modules.
- Knowledge of Critical Care Medicine and related nursing procedures, especially in high-acuity or simulation-based training environments.
- Valid nursing qualification (e.g., B.Sc. Nursing or equivalent); advanced certifications or postgraduate qualifications in nursing or education are an advantage.
- Prior experience as a clinical instructor, nurse educator, or skills lab trainer in academic or hospital settings preferred.
- Robust communication and presentation skills, with the ability to teach diverse learner groups and support English language development in clinical contexts.
- Proficiency in using simulation equipment, skill lab tools, and basic digital platforms for teaching and assessment.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleges, faculty, and healthcare partners, and a commitment to improving patient care outcomes through education.
