WE ARE HIRING | GENERAL MANAGER – EAST ZONE

Function: Sales & Business Development

Industry: Apparel | Rainwear | Winterwear | Outerwear

CTC: Up to ₹40–45 LPA

n

Reporting To: Business Head / Director

n

We are looking for an experienced General Manager – East Zone to drive business growth, market expansion, channel development, and overall sales performance across the Eastern region.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Develop and execute the East Zone sales strategy for Rainwear & Winterwear categories.
n
- Drive business across West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Assam & other Eastern markets.
n
- Manage and expand distributor, dealer, MBO, retail and institutional networks.
n
- Own revenue, sales targets, profitability, collections and channel productivity.
n
- Lead and mentor the regional sales team and field force.
n
- Identify new markets and appoint strategic channel partners.
n
- Develop seasonal sales plans aligned with monsoon and winter demand cycles.
n
- Track competition, pricing, schemes, product trends and market intelligence.
n
- Ensure effective primary & secondary sales,



stock rotation and distributor productivity.
n
- Work closely with Product, Marketing, Supply Chain and Production teams.
n
- Conduct regular market visits and drive territory-wise growth plans.
n

Candidate Profile

n

n
- Graduate / MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred.
n
- 15+ years of experience in Sales & Business Development.
n
- Strong experience in East India markets with an established distributor/dealer/retail network.
n
- Candidates from Rainwear, Winterwear, Outdoor Apparel, Jackets, Outerwear or Seasonal Wear will be preferred.
n
- Proven experience managing large sales teams and zonal/regional businesses.
n
- Robust understanding of General Trade, MBO, Distributor & Retail channels.
n
- Excellent commercial acumen with knowledge of margins, schemes, collections and profitability.
n
- Willingness to travel extensively across the East Zone.
n
