Job Summary

Cywarden is looking for an experienced GCP Solutions Architect with 10 years of overall IT experience and strong expertise in designing, implementing, securing, and managing enterprise-scale solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with GCP architecture, cloud networking, security, migration, Terraform, Kubernetes/GKE, and high-availability architectures.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and architect scalable, secure, and highly available GCP solutions.
- Define GCP Landing Zones, Organizations, Folders, Projects, IAM, and governance.
- Design GCP networking solutions including VPC, Shared VPC, Subnets, Firewall, Cloud NAT, Load Balancing, VPN and Cloud Interconnect.
- Develop cloud security architecture covering IAM, encryption, service accounts, policies, secrets, and security controls.
- Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives from on-premises or other cloud platforms to GCP.
- Work with GKE/Kubernetes, Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage and Cloud SQL.
- Design HA/DR, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Work with CI/CD, DevOps, monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
- Create HLD/LLD documents, architecture diagrams, technical proposals, and implementation roadmaps.
- Collaborate with networking, security, DevOps, engineering, and business teams.




- Provide technical leadership and guide engineering teams during implementation.

Mandatory Requirements

- 10 years of overall IT experience.
- Strong experience in GCP Solution/Cloud Architecture.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on GCP experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GCP Networking, IAM, Security and Governance.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong experience with GKE / Kubernetes.
- Experience in Cloud Migration & Modernization.
- Strong understanding of HA/DR and Business Continuity.
- Good understanding of enterprise networking and infrastructure.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Mandatory Certification

GCP Qualified Cloud Architect certification is REQUIRED.

Candidates without the required GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification will not be considered.

Good to Have

- Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer
- Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer
- Experience with Cloud Armor, Cloud KMS, Secret Manager and VPC Service Controls.
- Experience with Security Command Center (SCC).
- Multi-cloud experience with AWS/Azure.
- FinOps and GCP cost optimization experience.
- Experience working with global enterprise/client environments.
