Role Description The Entrepreneur in Residence at EDXSO is a full-time, in office role based in New Delhi. This role is responsible for identifying new opportunities in the K–12 education sector, designing scalable solutions, and leading pilot initiatives within partner schools. Day-to-day activities include market and educational research, developing business models, collaborating with academic and operations teams, and refining products and services based on feedback and outcomes.

The Entrepreneur in Residence will engage with school leadership, present strategic recommendations, support implementation, and track impact metrics to ensure solutions drive measurable improvements.



The role also involves mentoring internal teams on innovation practices and contributing to the overall growth strategy of EDXSO.

Qualifications

- Experience in entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship, or building current initiatives within education or impact-focused organizations.
- Strong strategic thinking and business modeling skills, including the ability to assess market needs and design viable solutions.
- Background in K–12 education, education consulting, or school improvement initiatives, with understanding of academic and operational challenges.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills to work with school leaders, educators, and internal teams.
- Ability to conduct qualitative and quantitative research, analyze data, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including planning, execution, monitoring, and iterative improvement of pilots and programs.
- Comfort with working on-site in New Delhi and regularly visiting partner schools for implementation and relationship-building.
- Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, education, public policy, or a related field; prior startup or consulting experience is an advantage.
