Role Description The Continental Commi Chef is a full-time, on-site role based in Thrissur. This role involves assisting in the preparation and cooking of continental dishes, following standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.

The Commi

Chef supports senior chefs by organizing ingredients, preparing mise en place, and ensuring proper cooking techniques are applied. Daily tasks include maintaining kitchen hygiene, handling food safely, and keeping workstations clean and orderly.



The role also includes collaborating with the kitchen team, helping with inventory, and ensuring dishes are served on time and to quality standards.

Qualifications

- Strong Food Preparation and basic Cooking skills with an understanding of continental cuisine.
- Solid Culinary Skills, including knife handling, portioning, and plating techniques.
- Commitment to Hygiene and food safety practices in line with industry standards.
- Effective Communication skills to work smoothly within a multicultural kitchen team.
- Previous experience as a Commi Chef or in a similar kitchen assistant role is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding kitchen tasks.
- Professional culinary training or certification is an advantage.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and readiness to follow instructions and standard operating procedures.
