Role Description The Construction Manager role at Larsen & Toubro is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram.

The Construction

Manager oversees day-to-day construction activities, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating work at project sites to ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery. This role involves managing site teams and contractors, monitoring progress against project plans, and implementing construction safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Manager collaborates with project control and engineering teams to track budgets, resource utilization, and risk, and prepares regular status reports for stakeholders. The position requires strong leadership on site, problem-solving in agile conditions, and close engagement with clients, vendors, and internal project teams.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated supervisory skills with experience leading multidisciplinary site teams and coordinating contractors.
- Strong construction expertise, including hands-on experience managing civil, structural, or industrial construction projects.
- Proficiency in construction safety practices, hazard identification, and compliance with relevant safety regulations and standards.
- Experience in budgeting and project control, including cost estimation, schedule tracking, and variance analysis.
- Relevant academic qualification such as a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts, and to resolve site-level technical issues efficiently.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering, procurement, and client teams.
- Familiarity with project management and construction-related software tools; prior experience with large EPC or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
