Role Description The Collection Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Current Delhi. The role involves managing and monitoring collections for retail and dealer financing portfolios, ensuring timely recovery of outstanding dues while maintaining positive customer relationships.

The Collection

Manager will analyze delinquency trends, allocate accounts to collection teams or agencies, and track performance against collection targets.

Responsibilities include coordinating with internal stakeholders such as credit, operations, and sales, implementing collection strategies and remediation plans, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies.



The role also requires preparing collection reports and dashboards, recommending process improvements, and supporting resolution of disputes or escalations in a professional, customer-centric manner.

Qualifications

- Strong collections management skills, including portfolio monitoring, recovery planning, and performance tracking.
- Proficiency in negotiation, conflict resolution, and customer communication to manage overdue accounts effectively.
- Ability to analyze data, interpret delinquency and risk trends, and prepare accurate MIS and collection reports.
- Knowledge of retail lending, automobile finance, and Loans Against Property processes and documentation.
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines, internal compliance standards, and ethical collection practices.
- Capability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage external collection agencies or partners.
- Comfort with using collection and banking software systems, spreadsheets, and basic MS Office tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business administration, or a related field; relevant experience in collections or credit control is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under time-sensitive targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and local languages, with a professional, customer-focused mindset.
