Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, on-site role based in Bombay Road Howrah (Srijan Industrial Logistics Park) , responsible for leading the overall financial strategy and operations of Vedika Metals Pvt. Ltd. The CFO will oversee financial planning and budgeting, manage cash flow, and ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports.

Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring financial performance, supervising accounting and finance teams, managing banking and investor relationships, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and taxation requirements. The role also involves supporting strategic decision-making, evaluating business risks and opportunities, optimizing capital structure, and implementing robust internal controls and financial systems to support the company’s trading activities.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Finance, with the ability to oversee corporate finance activities and support strategic business decisions.
- Proficiency in Financial Planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategy development.




- Experience in preparing, reviewing, and interpreting Financial Statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
- Expertise in Financial Reporting, including regulatory reporting, management reports, and performance dashboards.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess risks, evaluate investments, and drive data-informed decisions.
- Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, MBA in Finance .
- Prior leadership experience in a senior finance role, preferably in trading, manufacturing, or related industries with a minimum of 10 years of experience in similar role
- Knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation, and regulatory requirements; experience with SAP is a necessity .
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
- Candidates who can are Physically FIT will be given preference in placement / Salkary - Managment believes that one can be Financially FIT only once he / she attains Physical Fitness . Candidates who have a similar belief and who resonate with the same belief & can explain how they do the same on a regular basis will be considered .
- Candidates should be able to work under pressure and should be able to take complete responsibility of this role with a junior team
- First 6 months will be 100% on site role and after that Hybrid Role can be considered - starting with 1 day work from home and 5 days from office
- We have working 6 days a week - but loading is on from Vendor plants on Sundays and candidates who can work for a couple of hours on Sundays from home will only be considered .
- Candidates who have Excellemnt concept of Accpunting Principles will only be considered
