Role Description The Career Counselor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad.

The Career

Counselor will provide guidance to students and early-career professionals, helping them explore career options, understand labor market trends, and make informed academic and professional decisions. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, facilitating workshops or group discussions, administering and interpreting career assessments, and maintaining accurate counseling records.



The role also involves collaborating with educational institutions and internal teams to design career development programs, creating informational resources, and monitoring outcomes to continuously improve services.

The counselor is expected to uphold a supportive, inclusive setting and maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions.

Qualifications

- Ability to provide Career Counseling and support effective Career Development plans.
- Skills in Career Management, including helping individuals set goals and create action plans.
- Experience in Student Counseling, including working with diverse educational and cultural backgrounds.
- Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build trust and rapport.
- Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Familiarity with career assessment tools, local and global job markets, and current hiring trends.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teams, institutions, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and online platforms used for counseling, documentation, and reporting.
- Commitment to ethical counseling practices, confidentiality, and a people-first approach.
