Role Description The CDP Continental (Chef de Partie – Continental Cuisine) is a full-time, on-site role based at CALCUTTA 64 in Kharagpur. This role involves preparing and cooking a variety of continental dishes, maintaining high standards of taste, presentation, and food safety. The CDP Continental will assist in menu execution, support inventory and mise en place, and coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during peak hours.





Responsibilities also include maintaining cleanliness in the workstation, following standard recipes, supporting junior staff, and working closely with the Head Chef to introduce and refine new menu items.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in continental cooking techniques, food preparation, and plating.
- Knowledge of kitchen hygiene, food safety standards, and basic inventory management.
- Experience working in a professional café or restaurant kitchen, preferably in a similar role.
- Ability to collaborate with a diverse team, maintain calm under pressure, and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by café operations.
- Basic culinary education or certification is preferred; equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered.
- Commitment to creating a positive guest experience and contributing to a creative, idea-driven café environment.
