Role Description The BMS Draftsman is a full-time role based in New Delhi, structured as a hybrid position with some work-from-home flexibility. The role involves preparing detailed BMS (Building Management System)DDC Panel drawings, schematics, and layouts using CAD, in line with project specifications and industry standards. The BMS Draftsman will coordinate with project engineers and site teams to gather technical inputs, update drawings, and ensure accurate documentation for installation and commissioning.

Day-to-day responsibilities include revising drawings based on feedback, maintaining drawing records and version control, supporting preparation of technical submittals, and contributing to design optimization for energy-efficient building operations.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in CAD and drafting tools for producing detailed DDC Panel drawings.
- Strong understanding of building automation systems, HVAC controls,



and basic electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents.
- Attention to detail, organized documentation practices, and solid version control in drawing management.
- Good communication and collaboration skills for working with engineers, project managers, and site teams.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in engineering, drafting, or a related field; prior experience in BMS or building services drafting is preferred.
- Familiarity with industry standards and energy-efficient building practices is an advantage.
- Ability to work both on-site in New Delhi and remotely, managing tasks independently and meeting project deadlines.
