Role Description The Assistant Manager role at L&T; Finance is a full-time, on-site position based in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The role involves managing day-to-day branch operations, supporting loan processing activities, and ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
The Assistant
Manager will track and report key performance indicators, assist in portfolio monitoring, and coordinate with sales, credit, and collections teams to support business growth and asset quality.
Responsibilities include interacting with customers,
resolving queries, supporting documentation and compliance checks, and contributing to process improvements. The role also requires maintaining accurate records, using internal systems effectively, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve branch and regional targets.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of financial services, lending processes, and NBFC operations, especially in retail and rural lending segments.
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and use of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic financial software or CRM tools.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers and internal teams professionally.
- Good organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and compliance.
- Ability to work in office in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, collaborate in a team environment, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification in management or finance is an advantage.
- Prior experience in banking or NBFC roles such as operations, credit, or branch management is preferred.
