Role Description The Area Sales Manager role is a full time, on-site position based in Jaipur. The individual in this role will be responsible for achieving sales targets in the assigned territory, managing distributor and dealer networks, and developing new business opportunities for the company’s agricultural input products. Daily activities include planning and executing sales strategies, visiting customers and channel partners, monitoring market trends and competitor activities, and preparing regular sales reports and forecasts.

The Area Sales

Manager will coordinate with marketing and production teams to ensure product availability, conduct field demonstrations and farmer meetings, and support promotional campaigns. This role also involves maintaining strong customer relationships, addressing service issues promptly, and ensuring compliance with company policies and ethical sales practices.

Qualifications

- Strong sales and business development skills, including territory management, channel management, and target achievement.




- Experience in customer relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation.
- Knowledge of agricultural inputs or related industries, with the ability to understand farmer and market needs.
- Proficiency in basic data analysis, reporting, and use of CRM or sales tracking tools.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to conduct meetings and product demonstrations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, Marketing, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Proven experience in field sales or area management, preferably in agrochemicals, fertilizers, or allied sectors.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region and work on-site with distributors, retailers, and end customers.
- Ability to work independently, make data-informed decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
