A developer's mindset you'd rather write and debug the workflow than describe it for someone else to build.
Some exposure to geodatabases, ETL tooling (FME or similar), or general scripting; deep Esri experience is a bonus,
not a bar to entry.
Prior exposure to the electrical utility domain is a real plus, but not required — genuine curiosity matters more than a head start.
A growing sense of how a real electrical network problem — a mismatched asset, a broken connectivity trace —
should translate into a GIS or AI-assisted fix; you don't need to arrive with this, but you should want to build it.
An appetite for picking up new tools quickly, including AI-assisted ones, as the toolset evolves.
A good attitude — approachable, team-oriented, and comfortable operating with some ambiguity as priorities evolve.
