nWe're looking for an Accountant who can work hands-on across multiple client companies and help us build a new kind of accounting experience.

nThe Role

nAs an Accountant at Lighthaus, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities for multiple companies.

nThis is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with client data, accounting systems and our internal team to ensure books are accurate, reconciled and up to date.

nWhat You'll Do

- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for multiple companies
n
- Pass and verify journal entries and maintain accurate books of accounts
n
- Perform bank, payment gateway, marketplace and other account reconciliations
n
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
n
- Work on Tally and Zoho Books for accounting and bookkeeping
n
- Review invoices, expenses, settlements and transaction data
n
- Assist with GST, TDS and other accounting/compliance-related activities
n
- Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting mismatches
n
- Coordinate with clients and internal team members to collect missing information
n
- Maintain proper documentation and accounting records
n




- Work with D2C/e-commerce transaction data such as marketplace settlements, returns, fees and inventory-related transactions
n
- Support month-end closing and preparation of financial reports
n
- Work across multiple businesses and accounting environments
n

nWhat We're Looking For

n

n
- 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience
n
- Strong practical knowledge of Tally
n
- Experience with Zoho Books / Zoho
n
- Good understanding of bookkeeping, reconciliations, journal entries and financial statements
n
- Experience handling accounts for multiple companies/clients is preferred
n
- Experience working with D2C, e-commerce or consumer brands is a strong advantage
n
- Comfortable working with large volumes of transaction data
n
- Good attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership
n
- Good communication skills — both written and verbal
n
- Comfortable interacting directly with clients when required
n
- Willingness to travel to client locations when required
n
- Comfortable learning new technology, software and AI-enabled accounting workflows
