Role Description:

This is a full time, on-site Accountant role based in Ahmedabad. The Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting operations, including posting journal entries, maintaining general ledgers, preparing and reconciling financial statements, and managing accounts payable and receivable.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems, or similar) and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Understanding of taxation, statutory compliance, and audit requirements relevant to the pharmaceutical or manufacturing sector.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with finance and non-finance teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce,



or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA/CPA/ICWA or in progress) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in corporate accounting or in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry is preferred.
