Akums Drugs & Pharmaceuticals Ltd. is looking for an experienced Export Documentation qualified to manage export documentation, customs clearance coordination, shipment processes and export compliance for pharmaceutical shipments.
The ideal candidate should have robust knowledge of export documentation, Letters of Credit (LCs), customs procedures, DGFT regulations, FEMA and export-related banking processes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and prepare export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists and other shipment-related documents.
Handle documentation requirements related to Letters of Credit (LCs) and ensure compliance with LC terms and conditions.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, airlines and shipping lines for smooth and timely shipment of consignments.
Monitor export shipments and ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
Coordinate with overseas customers and banks to follow up on export payments and receivables.
Ensure compliance with applicable DGFT, FEMA, customs and export regulations.
Manage export-related documentation and processes through relevant customs, DGFT and shipping portals.
Support the organization in utilizing applicable export incentive schemes and benefits.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to export transactions.
What We're Looking For
3–4 years of experience in Export Documentation, preferably within the pharmaceutical/export industry.
Thorough knowledge of export documentation and customs clearance procedures.
Solid understanding of Letters of Credit (LCs) and export commercial documentation.
Knowledge of DGFT export incentive schemes and benefits.
Experience coordinating with freight forwarders, customs brokers, airlines and shipping lines.
Understanding of FEMA regulations and export-related banking procedures.
Proficiency in MS Office — Excel, Word and Outlook.
Familiarity with customs, DGFT and shipping-related online portals.
Good coordination, follow-up and communication skills.
