Role Summary

The Coordinator – Student Affairs & Alumni Relations will manage day-to-day student affairs operations and drive alumni engagement initiatives, serving as a key link between the university, current students, and the alumni community. The role requires close coordination across departments to ensure smooth handling of student welfare matters and sustained alumni relationship-building.

Key Responsibilities

Student Affairs

n

n
- Serve as first point of contact for student grievances, welfare concerns, and disciplinary matters, escalating as needed
n
- Coordinate student clubs, societies, and campus events in partnership with respective departments
n
- Support orientation, induction, and student engagement programs
n
- Liaise with academic and administrative departments to resolve student issues promptly
n
- Maintain records related to student affairs activities and incidents
n

Alumni Relations

n

n
- Develop and maintain a structured alumni database and engagement tracker
n
- Plan and execute alumni events (reunions, panels, mentorship programs, fundraising initiatives)
n




- Build relationships with alumni to support placements, guest lectures, and institutional visibility
n
- Work with Marketing/Communications to feature alumni success stories and maintain alumni-facing content
n
- Support accreditation and ranking submissions requiring alumni engagement data (e.g., AACSB, QS, THE)

Cross-functional

n

- Represent Student Affairs & Alumni function in institutional meetings and reporting
n
- Support the Director in strategic planning related to student experience and alumni outreach
n

n

Qualifications & Experience

n

n
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Education, Communications, or related field
n
- 3–5 years of experience in student affairs, alumni relations, or higher education administration
n
- Solid interpersonal, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
n
- Comfortable working across departments and reporting lines
n
- Prior experience in a university/higher-ed setting preferred
