Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Backend SDE-3 to build and scale mission-critical backend services powering our B2C platform. You will be responsible for designing highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable distributed systems while collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex system design challenges, optimizing performance at scale, and taking end-to-end ownership of backend services.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and microservices.
Build high-performance APIs and distributed systems capable of handling millions of requests.
Architect reliable, secure, and fault-tolerant systems with high availability.
Optimize application performance, database queries,



and system reliability.
Work with event-driven architectures using messaging systems like Kafka.
Design productive caching strategies using Redis.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Frontend Engineers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality features.
Drive engineering best practices, code reviews, mentoring, and technical discussions.
Participate in architecture decisions and contribute to long-term platform scalability.

Required Skills
5–9 years of backend development experience in product-based organizations.
Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and/or Golang.
Solid understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms.
Experience in designing scalable microservices architecture.
Robust expertise in System Design and distributed systems.
Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar messaging platforms.
Solid knowledge of Redis for caching and performance optimization.
Experience with MongoDB and database optimization.
Good understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous processing, and event-driven architecture.
Experience with cloud environments, containerization, and CI/CD is an added advantage.
Robust debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
