Perform CAD modifications and model clean-up, preferably using PTC Creo
Understand and apply basic concepts of Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
Carry out geometry preparation, meshing, and preprocessing for simulation models
Perform mesh quality checks and ensure compliance with internal and project-specific quality standards.
Demonstrate basic mesh sensitivity awareness; identify cases requiring refinement and flag potential risks to senior engineers
Prepare technical documentation, result summaries, and simulation reports
Maintain simulation models in accordance with defined standards and best practices
Collaborate with global teams to resolve geometry and modeling-related issues
Execute basic FEA tasks under guidance.

Required Skills
Hands-on experience in meshing and mesh quality evaluation, including an understanding of common quality parameters and the ability to identify and correct poor-quality elements
Hands-on experience with pre-processors or meshing tools such as HyperMesh, SimLab, and HyperView
Ability to perform geometry preparation and defeaturing to achieve robust, high-quality meshes, particularly when working with CAD models from PTC Creo




Practical understanding of how mesh size, type and mesh quality influence solution stability, time step selection, and computational cost
Understanding of FEA fundamentals, including boundary conditions, loads, constraints, and element types.
Basic understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T; concepts.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
2–3 years of relevant experience in preprocessing, geometry clean-up, and meshing
