Position: Assistant Manager / DM Plant HR

Location: Kharagpur, West Bengal

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Plant HR function and manage day-to-day HR operations.
Handle Industrial Relations (IR), employee grievances, discipline and employee engagement.
Drive end-to-end plant recruitment based on manpower requirements, including white-collar, blue-collar and contractual manpower.
Manage manpower planning, deployment, attendance, employee services and HR administration.
Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements and factory regulations.
Handle Labour/Factory Department inspections, audits and local government liaisoning.
Ensure implementation and compliance of HR policies, systems and processes at the plant.
Prepare and monitor HR MIS covering manpower, absenteeism,



attrition, employee cost, overtime and other key HR metrics.
Drive employee engagement, welfare and HR initiatives to maintain a positive work setting.
Coordinate with Plant Operations, Finance, EHS and other functions on workforce and employee-related matters.
Support performance management, training and development initiatives.
Identify prospects for manpower productivity and cost optimization.
Should have handled workforce of 500+ employees

Required Skills & Qualifications:
MSW / MBA in HR.
Minimum 10+years in Plant HR & IR activates.
