A typical JD for Senior Mold Designer will include: -
n 1) To receive, study, interact & understand the customer requirements about the products & molds.
n 2) Propose & prepare DFM, MFA solutions. ( feasibility study)
n 3) Planning the mold design execution within the mold design team.
n
4) Actual execution & monitoring of mold design projects as planned above.
n
Expertise in Creo software is a must.
n
5) Regular interactions with Tool room shop floor, die makers and QC @ on-going tooling projects.
n 6) Maintaining the resources of mold design section.
n 7) Training, grooming the junior/fresh mold designers thru the skill ladder.
n 8) To interact with senior management about the quality objectives, business targets of the unit, in line with the vision, mission & goals of the whole organisation.

The candidate should be knowledgeable, experienced & capable enough for upholding above responsibilities and most importantly should be having right attitude of sense of ownership
