Role & responsibilities
FEA ANSA modeling and Abaqus simulation.
- Mesh complex assemblies using ANSA (mid-surface shell meshing, solid tetrahedral/hexahedral meshing).
- Set up material models, boundary conditions, contacts, and connector elements.
- Run static, dynamic, implicit, and explicit simulations via the Abaqus solver.
- Troubleshoot convergence errors and validate FEA results against design loads
- Robust background in mechanical or structural engineering.
- Proficiency in pre-processing tools like ANSA and solvers like Abaqus.
- Knowledge of linear/nonlinear structural mechanics, crash, durability, or NVH
