Position: Electrical Maintenance Technician

Experience: 4 to 6 Years

Department: Maintenance

Key Roles & Responsibilities
Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of machinery, equipment, utilities, and plant facilities.
Troubleshoot and repair, Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic instrumentation issues.
Perform routine inspection of machines and identify potential problems before breakdowns occur.
Execute preventive maintenance schedules as per the maintenance plan.
Attend machine breakdowns promptly and minimize equipment downtime.
Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, inspection checklists, and spare-parts records.
Ensure proper lubrication, alignment, tightening, cleaning, and replacement of machine components.
Coordinate with production and other departments for maintenance activities and machine availability.
Assist in installation, commissioning, modification, and relocation of machinery and equipment.
Ensure availability and proper usage of critical maintenance spares and tools.




Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, LOTO practices, and company maintenance standards.
Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for repeated equipment failures.
Maintain good housekeeping and ensure the maintenance area and equipment are kept in protected condition.
Support contractors and external service technicians during maintenance and repair activities.
Participate in continuous improvement activities to improve machine reliability, productivity, and energy efficiency.

Required Skills
Valuable troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of industrial machinery and maintenance practices.
Basic knowledge of electrical panels, motors, sensors, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and basic electrical diagrams.
Positive communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in shifts and respond to emergency breakdowns when required.
