Position: Design Engineer Electrical Panels

Experience: 2 - 6 Years

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop Electrical Control Panels, Power Panels, MCC, PCC, APFC, PLC and automation panels as per project requirements.
Prepare electrical schematic diagrams, control circuit diagrams, GA drawings, wiring diagrams, and BOMs.
Select appropriate electrical components such as MCBs, MCCBs, contactors, relays, VFDs, PLCs, SMPS, timers, meters, terminals, etc.
Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM), component specifications, and panel layouts.
Design panel layouts considering space, heat dissipation, cable routing, accessibility, and safety requirements.
Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Sales, Quality, and Project teams for smooth execution of projects.
Review customer specifications, technical drawings, and project requirements.
Ensure designs comply with applicable electrical standards, safety requirements, and customer specifications.
Provide technical support to the production team during panel assembly, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting.




Review and modify drawings based on customer requirements and engineering changes.
Coordinate with vendors for technical specifications and component selection.
Participate in FAT, inspection, testing, and commissioning activities when required.
Maintain proper documentation of drawings, BOMs, revisions, and technical records.

Required Skills
Robust knowledge of Electrical Panel Design and Control Circuits
Hands-on experience with AutoCAD Electrical / EPLAN or similar design software
Valuable knowledge of MCC, PCC, PLC, APFC and Control Panels
Knowledge of electrical components and their applications
Understanding of control wiring, power circuits, cable sizing, protection devices, and panel layouts
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems
Robust problem-solving and coordination skills

Preferred Industry Experience Candidates with experience in Electrical Panel Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, HVAC & Refrigeration, Industrial Controls, Switchgear, or Engineering Manufacturing will be preferred.
