Operate and monitor DG sets safely and efficiently.Start, stop, and change over DG sets as per power requirements.Monitor parameters such as voltage, current, frequency, load, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level.Conduct routine inspections and identify abnormal conditions.Check diesel, engine oil, coolant, batteries, and other consumables.Maintain DG operation and fuel-consumption logs.Perform basic troubleshooting of DG and electrical systems.Coordinate with electrical/mechanical maintenance teams for breakdowns and repairs.Carry out routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.Ensure proper ventilation, earthing, and housekeeping around the DG area.Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and fire-safety standards.Report equipment faults, fuel leakage, unusual noise, overheating, or other issues immediately.Maintain records of running hours, maintenance activities, and breakdowns.
